The Tigard Farmers Market wants your help in designing the 2016 market t-shirt. From June 20, 2016 to July 2, 2016, we are hosting t-shirt design contest. Show us what a farmers market t-shirt would look like. The Grand Prize winner will receive $75 to the Tigard Farmers Market! Submit designs to Manager@TigardFarmersMarket.Org.
DESIGN CRITERIA
- Designs must reference a farmers market theme.
- Must include the Tigard Farmers Market logo (available for download) or name in the design. It does not have to be featured prominently.
- May feature up to two (2) colors, not including the color of the shirt.
- Design must be able to fit with in a 8.5″ x 11″ or 11 x 8.5″ space.
RULES & REGULATIONS
- Contest: Submit up to three (3) designs per person. If you submit more than three, only your first three submissions in order of date and time will be considered. Designs can include up to two (2) colors, not including the base color of the shirt. Submit front t-shirt designs only. There should be no text or visuals on the back of the shirt. Each entry must be smaller than 15MB in size. Attach entries as medium resolution JPEG or pdf files. Please be prepared to submit the original file in the case your artwork is chosen. Submit entries to: manager@tigardfarmersmarket.org. Voting of the top 5 designs will be voted on at the Tigard Farmers Market on July 3rd.
- Prize: Grand Prize Winner will receive a t-shirt with the winning design and $75 to the Tigard Farmers Market. Runner Up will receive $25.
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to win. Legal resident of the United States.
- Ownership: Submit only original designs. These designs must not contain copyrighted material and they cannot have previously won any awards.
- Transfer of Rights: The winning designs will become property of Tigard Farmers Market and will gain EXCLUSIVE rights to modify, reproduce and use.
- No Purchase: No purchase necessary to enter or win.
- Notification: The Grand Prize Winner and Runner Up will be will be notified by e-mail and blog, and required to complete an Publicity Release that must be returned via email, fax or mail within four (4) days of the date and time of notification or prize will be forfeited and a runner-up will be determined. You are not a certified winner until your eligibility is verified and you receive official notification from the selection committee.
- Inclusivity: Designs that are considered offensive or defamatory or in violation of any person’s right to privacy or other personal rights are not welcome. Entries that are incomplete, illegible or corrupted are void and will not be accepted. Entries may not include: (a) profanity, nudity or material deemed inappropriate or offensive to the judges; (b) false or defamatory statements about any person or any third party; (c) third party trademarks which suggest affiliation with any trademark owner without permission of such owner or that dilute the value of any trademark; (d) obscene, indecent, violent, sexually explicit, abusive, discriminatory, racially inflammatory or other morally or legally objectionable depictions of material, in the opinion of the judges or the Sponsor. If an entry includes any of the prohibited elements listed above, the entry will be disqualified, along with the contestant who submitted it.
- Indemnification by Applicant: The Applicant will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Tigard Farmers Market, its licensors, and each of their respective employees, officers, directors, and affiliates (“Indemnified Parties”), from any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, fees, expenses and costs (including attorneys’ fees, court costs, damage awards, and settlement amounts) which result from any claim or allegation against any Indemnified Party arising from Applicant use of the ineligible artistic property or its breach of any term of this Agreement.
- Notice by Applicant: The Applicant will provide Tigard Farmers Market with notice of any such claim or allegation, and it will have the right to participate in the defense of any such claim at its expense.
